Ten8 Project Crest

The mission of the Ten8 Project is to enhance public safety

by providing the tools and training, continued education

and awareness to create a safer environment for

fire and police when in service.

What We Do

The Ten8 Project improves the proficiency, safety and physical and
mental well-being of firefighters and police officers

so they can effectively protect and serve.

When fire or police identify a need, we provide support for lifesaving

equipment, training and other necessary resources.

The Ten8 Project partners with individual and corporate sponsors

to fill in the gaps when public funding is unavailable.

We do this through...

1. Tools and Training

2. Continued Education

3. Awareness

What is Ten8?

10:8 is the police code meaning "In Service"- used to alert others an officer is reporting for duty. It symbolizes not just physical presence but mental and emotional readiness to do the task at hand. The vision of the Ten8 Project is to provide the tools and corresponding training that will not only improve the lives of the public safety professionals, ensuring they have the utmost preparation to be in service, but subsequently will improve the lives of the residents in the areas they serve.
